Complete Project Plan: Sycamore Pantry

This project combines maximum storage with construction that makes ordinary birch plywood cabinets look like a million bucks. The trick is to face the plywood with thick veneer that's easily made from your favorite lumber (I used quartersawn sycamore). For ease of construction, the pantry features modular construction and the boxes are designed so all the parts can be milled using a tablesaw, a 6-in. jointer, a 14-in. bandsaw, and a 12-in. planer.
